Raccoon Bars (Special K Bars)

Ingredients

Raccoon Bars  (Special K Bars)

1 cup Sugar

1 can White Corn Syrup

1 1/2 cup Peanut Butter (creamy)

5-6 cup Special K Cereal (or Rice Crispies)

6 ounce Butterscotch Chips

6 ounce Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips


Directions

Bring sugar and white corn syrup to a boil over medium heat.
Stir in peanut butter.
Remove from heat.
Stir in 5 cups Special K or Rice Krispies. Add remaining cereal as needed.
All cereal should be coated with peanut butter mixture.
Turn out into a greased 9 x 13î pan.
Melt butterscotch and chocolate chips in microwave or double boiler.
Frost bars with this mixture.
Cut the bars before they set as they are very difficult to cut when they set.
Refrigerate to set.
Re-cut bars after they have set.

Yield: 3-4 dozen
