Seven Layer Salad

Ingredients
3/4 head Iceberg Lettuce
1/2 cup Green Pepper (chopped)
1/2 cup Onion (chopped)
1/2 cup Celery (chopped)
1 package Peas (frozen package)
8-10 slice Bacon
6-8 ounce Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
1 cup Miracle Whip
2 Tbs Sugar
Directions
Fry bacon, set aside to cool.
Cook, rinse, and drain frozen peas according to package directions
Spread the lettuce evenly over the bottom of a glass 9 x 13î pan (or other see-through serving dish).
Layer the green pepper evenly across the top of the lettuce.
Layer the onion evenly across the top of the lettuce and green pepper.
Layer the celery evenly across the top of the lettuce, green pepper and onion.
Layer the peas evenly across the top of the lettuce, green pepper, onion and celery.
Mix together the Miracle Whip and sugar. Spoon over the top of the peas and spread to form a seal over the entire top of the salad.
Cover and refrigerate the salad for 6+ hours (or overnight).
Crumble the bacon and put into a ziplock bag in the refrigerator.
When ready to serve - add a layer of shredded cheddar cheese to the top of the salad.
Finish salad with a layer of crumbled bacon.
Serve and enjoy.
