Ham and Broccoli Quiche

Ingredients

1 cup Mushrooms (sliced)

1 clove Garlic

2 tsp Butter

1/2 cup Swiss Cheese

1 Pie Crusts (9")

1 1/2 cup Ham (chopped)

1 cup Broccoli (cooked)

1 cup Milk

3 Egg

2 tsp Flour

1/4 tsp Pepper

1 dash Nutmeg

2 Tbs Parmesan Cheese


Directions

Preheat oven to 350°
Saute mushrooms and garlic in butter.
Place pie crust in a 9" pie pan and sprinkle bottom with swiss cheese.
Top with mushroom mixture, ham, and broccoli.
Beat eggs, milk, flour, pepper, and nutmeg in a separate bowl.
Pour egg mixture over ingredients in pie crust.
Sprinkle top with parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes; or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let sit for 10 mintues before serving

I really like this recipe. Very simple flavors, nothing fancy. But still good.

I also love that this recipe is really just a starting point. It is adaptable to whatever you prefer. I have made it vegetarian style with carrots and peppers, etc. I have also made it with chicken instead of ham. Definitely opens up the doors to other options!

Don't be afraid to switch up the cheeses with whatever you have in the house. I often use mozzarella in place of swiss.
