Cherry Cobbler Bars

Ingredients
1 1/2 cup Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 cup Margarine (room temperature)
1 cup Powdered Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp Lemon Zest
21 ounce Cherry Pie Filling (1 can)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°.
Grease 7 x 11 inch pan.
Beat margarine and powdered sugar until pale and fluffy.
Beat in egg and lemon zest.
Mix flour and baking powder in a separte bowl.
Gradually add flour/baking powder to mixer.
Remove 2/3 cup dough; set aside.
With floured fingers press remaining dough over bottom of prepared pan.
Spread cherry pie filling over dough to edges of pan.
Roll reserved dough into 1 in balls.
Flatten balls with finger tips and place (evenly spaced) on pie filling.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, or until top is golden brown.
Cool in pan.
Dust with powdered sugar.
