Cheesy Chicken Bake

Ingredients

4 breast Chicken (cooked and diced)

1 cup Cheddar Cheese (shredded - divided)

1 can Cream of Chicken Soup (divided)

1 cup Milk

1 tube Pillsbury Crescent Rolls


Directions

Preheat oven to 350°.
Mix chicken with 1/2 cup of cheese and 2 Tablespoons chicken soup.
Form into 8 balls of this mixture.
Cover balls with dinner rolls so that there is NO dough on the bottom of the chicken ball - dough covers the top only.
Place balls in a casserole dish.
Heat the milk, remaining soup and remaining cheese.
When cheese is melted and sauce is smooth, pour over chicken balls.
Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes.

Good in theory, bad in practice.

I found getting the cresent rolls right to be pretty tricky. May times I ended up with a doughy casserole. But once you get that right, it is a good concept to base other dishes off of. Just not a lot of flavor to this particular one. I have still made it multiple times, but usually when I make it, it's because I have limited ingredients in the house.
