Creamy Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients
2 Tbs Butter (or Margarine)
2 Tbs Flour
1 tsp Salt
dash Pepper (white or black)
1 1/2 cup Milk
4-5 Potatoes (pared and thinly sliced)
2-3 Tbs Onion (finely chopped)
1 tsp Butter (or Margarine)
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 350°.
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
Cook over low heat, stirring until smooth and bubbly.
Remove from heat.
Add milk; Stir with a wire whisk until all lumps are gone.
Return to stovetop.
Heat, stirring constantly until sauce begins to thicken.
Remove from heat and set aside.
In a greased casserole dish, layer half the potatoes, all the onion and half the sauce.
Top with the remaining potatoes.
Top with remaining sauce.
Dot top with 1 teaspoon butter.
Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
Uncover and bake until potatoes are tender and lightly browned, about 35 minutes.
